Marketing Associate  

Oro Filipinas — an up-and-coming, proudly Filipino, single-origin chocolate manufacturing company — is looking for a Marketing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate understands the dynamic involved in communicating through all channels – from digital media to content planning and engagement. You will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of various marketing plans, strategies and activities; this includes event planning for local and international Tradeshow booths and pop-up retail stalls in highly frequented locations, press releases, and digital marketing to promote profitable growth in support of Oro’s business priorities. We are seeking an individual that can define and execute in & outbound marketing programs as well as align internal resources to fulfill them effectively.

• Conduct market research and internal reports to anticipate product trends, competitive actions and marketing strategies.
• Define campaign plans, demand-generation programs, pipeline creation, effective canvassing and use of marketing budgets.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve marketing goals in support of the company as a whole
• Collaborate with design and other team members to develop compelling content plans.
• Establish and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
• Realize the opportunities for the brand to create value and add relevance
• Create persuasive messages, tell compelling stories that help to convert customers into brand advocates

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
• 2+ years of work experience in journalism, advertising, communications or marketing
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high quality work and projecting a positive attitude
• Team player, with the confidence to take initiative
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills - effective verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled use of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus***
