Senior Structural Designer  

This is an office-based assignment at the Project Management Office in Muntinlupa City.

• Manage structural design works, research applicable design criteria, attend project meetings, communicate with members of the project team, and report progress to the Design Coordinator.
• Coordinate all technical and administrative elements of each allocated design project to ensure all work is delivered in a professional, effective, and efficient manner, while applying sound engineering principles.
• Deliver innovative, sustainable, efficient, safe, practical, and intelligent structural engineering solutions on all projects and other activities, appropriate to the stage and type of project.
• Perform design and analysis functions for various structures.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing structures.
• Develop solutions to challenges within budget, schedule, and project constraints.
• Ensure the overall stability of designs in the permanent/final condition as well as during construction.
• Ensure health and safety are considered at all stages of the design process such that the designs produced minimize risk during construction while exceeding the client’s expectations.
• Prepare drawing packages for all stages of projects from Basis of Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Contract Administration.
• Ensure quality and efficiency for assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Actively work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepare for regular project team meetings pertaining to project tasks, deliverables, and milestones.
• Review shop drawings and samples to ensure drawings and finishes match specifications.
• Revisit designs and make adjustments to designs as needed.
• Liaise with various professionals and departments to coordinate project details.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Must have a current license to practice from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Accredited and a member of their respective profession’s organization.
• Well-versed in international and local codes, standards, and regulations.
• Decisive with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities, including preparing and giving presentations.
• Proficient in STAAD, Autodesk Revit Structural, BIM 360 Cloud, and other structural analysis software.
• At least 5 years of experience in design and construction projects.
