The Role: Your Impact

As a Finance Associate at Edge Tutor, you play a crucial role in ensuring our vendors and team members are paid correctly and on time. Your timeliness and attention to detail is key to maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Your Key Contributions:

• Financial Accuracy: Assists in performing finance functions as needed for the purpose of ensuring that department functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Analytical Expertise: Processes a wide variety of financial information for the purpose of updating and distributing information and complying with established accounting practices.
• Compliance and Reporting: Maintains a wide variety of financial information, files, and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Payments: Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and cash advances.
• Flexibility: Perform additional tasks as required by supervisors, stakeholders, or clients.

Your Setup:
Remote work, with occasional operational meetings in Manila.

Your Profile:

• Educational Backbone: Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent
• Proven Expertise: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance.
• Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in modern office applications and spreadsheet software.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Analytical Thinker: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent
• Experience: Relevant work experience in Finance
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in modern office procedures, methods, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications
