Software Developer  

About the Role:

· This position is responsible for Software Support and Development with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness.

· The primary purpose of the position is to support and develop corporate systems and provide level III Support.

· The ideal candidate should have a Software Development background with the ability to quickly learn new development skills.

· This position will work with Business units and the Technology Group.

Job Duties in Brief:

Application Support

o Administer and resolve support requests coming from application users.

o Effectively communicate with the user community.

o Assist other IT support teams with queries around applications integration issues.

o Run ad-hoc database queries to troubleshoot issues.

o Troubleshoot and isolate issues effectively and efficiently at the database and application code levels.

Development

o Design and Develop application interfaces as small standalone functionality and as part of larger integrated applications.

o Maintain and enhance existing applications/websites and its functionalities.

o Develop SQL functions and design database objects to support application functionality.

o Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality.

Analysis

o Perform analysis of application interfaces and transport mechanisms to integrate different enterprise applications.

o Coordinate the release process with business groups, operations and change management.

o Communicate detailed descriptions of functionality changes and provide follow up support as required.

Testing

o Support QA testing.

o Provide direction & support to the Business Divisions for User Acceptance.

• Other technical duties to perform as assigned.

Work Experience and Technologies:

• Minimum of 2-3 years technical experience as a Developer

• Software Development Life Cycle

• ASP.NET Core MVC

• Node JS

• Entity Framework 6 / EF Core

• ECMAScript 6 + HTML + CSS

• React Functional Components + Hooks

• Microsoft SQL

• Git

• Web APIs

• C#

• IIS Server Performance Tuning, Remote Debugging and Load Testing.

Background/Qualifications:

• Well-rounded individual capable of performing several roles.

• Willing to work on shifts as assigned (AM, PM, and Graveyard).

• At least Bachelor's/College Degree, BS ECE, BSCoE, BSCS, MSIT, BSIT or its equivalent.

• Possesses a high degree of initiative.

• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English.
