Quality Management System Officer | Lead  

The Quality Management System Officer / Lead is responsible in leading internal audit and other verification activities, in addition to external audit preparations. Spearheads process audits and make relevant and high quality reports in relation to QMS activities, and initiates projects to support the companies continuous improvement. He/She assists in various quality management (QMS) system and quality assurance activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible in leading the conduct of internal audits based on Good Distribution and Storage Practices (GDSP) standard and other activities related to verification to other requirements;
• Leads external audit preparations and engagements;
• Conducts review of processes to help process owners in streamlining their processes and making improvements in their tasks in terms of quality and productivity;
• Prepares internal audit calendar and other internal verification activities;
• Prepares and consolidates annual management review reports and other departmental reports;
• Maintains all internal audit records and documentation;
• Does all related quality management system implementation and maintenance activities;
• Monitors and updates logs in the continuous improvement database;
• Initiates and drives company-wide continuous improvement programs;
• Assists in document control and other quality management system activities;
• Assists in quality assurance inspections in warehouses;
• Assists in conducting QC inspections of incoming products and products returned by the customers;
• Prepares training materials and conduct trainings related, to continuous improvement, QMS and GDSP;
• Prepares high quality reports supporting QMS activities and other continuous improvement projects;

• A graduate of BS Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience
• Experience in auditing for ISO 9001
• 2 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance for a Manufacturing Company, BPO, or Quality Management System auditing experience
• Experience in process analysis and streamlining, time and motion studies and preparation of related recommendation and reports
• High familiarity with various MS office applications
• Knowledgeable in various problem-solving tools application
• Able to prepare creative, high quality and relevant reports
• Good communication and organization skills
