Research Analyst  

DSM Manila LLC is a shared services subsidiary for White & Case LLP, one of the world’s leading law firms. Established in 2007 with an initial group of 5 employees, the company has grown to its current staff of 300 as it continues to provide the best solutions support for all White & Case offices.

The Research Analyst process all incoming work requests including, but not limited to: Conflict Search Requests; Opening Entry for Existing Client Requests; Opening Entry for New Client Requests; Audit Inquiry Requests Partners, Associates, and Legal Staff Lateral Hire Searches; Stocks/Trade Requests; Background Research and Compliance Checks; Provide phone support; Local direct report to CNB Manila Manager.

As a Research Analyst, you will:

• Conduct conflicts searches; determine if special research is needed
• Process Opening Entries and analyze work being done to determine if further query is needed
• Ensure compliance with CNB requirements such as Know Your Client, Anti-Money Laundering, and Patriot Act Checks; Determine research needs; Review and analyze for additional corporate information
• Prepare reports for Client and New Business (CNB) Management review
• Process, review, and respond to numerous special requests submitted by any one of the White & Case offices

For you to succeed in this role, you will need:

• Strong written and oral English communications skills
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality on all levels including, but not limited to, firm activity, departmental processes, firm personnel activity, and salary and compensation
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet); LegalKEY knowledge preferred but not required
• Experience in multi-cultural workplace preferred; Education or training on legal field preferred
• Legal-work background preferred
