Senior UX/UI Designer  

Job Summary:

We're looking for an UI Designer to work with the Hong Kong UX/UI Design team.

The role of the candidate will be to ensure High-quality Design Interface and focus on delivering engaging and enticing experience, simple, fun and effective interactions.

The candidate must be able to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

You'll work closely with UX & UI Designers. You'll be assigned multiple design problems with an end goal to define or improve User Interface and User interactions for the Nixplay Mobile app (but also occasionally for our Nixplay Signage web app platform).

Overall Purpose of the Role:

This position will be responsible for coding and maintaining a Design system structure and may also write specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Mobile app front end as per design comps and information architecture
• Maintain a library of reusable packages/materials (Design system)
• Produce front-end code and visual comps to create a polished and friendly functional UI with keeping an eye on usability and Design simplicity
• Ability to build animated micro-interactions and UI animation that deliver a Wow effect for Nixplay Mobile App Users
• Work with UX and UI Designer to create and implement interaction models and user interface specifications
• Help in building complete product prototypes that can be tested with stakeholders or Customers
• Evaluate and set Best practices and standards
• Work with engineering team and backend developers as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of previous experience in UI, engineering, UX or related position for mobile design experience.
• Knowledge of UI frameworks (React Native) background
• Hands-on development experience using JavaScript, HTML5, HTML, CSS3
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable app, understanding the latest design trends and their role
• Proven experience with UI design with the portfolio of sample projects
• Experience with multiple visual design programs: Sketch, Photoshop, etc.
• Knowledge in Wireframing tools, prototyping (Invision), user flows.
• Understands "pixel-perfect" execution and strives for it
• Able to work independently and as an active member of a team
