Miêu Tả Về Công Việc
- Evaluates students’ abilities and interests through aptitude assessments and interviews
- Identifies school issues that affect students’ academic performance
- Conducts individual group and counseling sessions to overcome behavioral problems or develop effective organizational skills and study habits
- Prepares yearly guidance modules that regularly meets the needs and concerns of the student body
- Prepares intervention programs for students that have been referred to the Guidance Center
- Collaborates with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student issues
- Conducts learning seminars or brainstorming sessions on school-related issues and career planning
- Maintains student guidance records as required
- Assists the Admissions Office in administering entrance examinations and group testing
- Refers possible cases of mental health disorders to partner Psychological clinics
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Graduate of AB or BS Psychology with a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling
- Must be a Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC)
- At least 3 - 5 years of immersive experience in different guidance and counseling services such as testing, placement, counseling, and research
- Knowledge in various models of teaching and guidance modules are preferred for this role
- Must possess strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Must have the ability to operate within a wide range of student background and personalities
- Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work around new technological advancements is an advantage
