Cloud Infrastructure Engineer  

About the role

CoreData is seeking a detail-oriented and self-directed Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will play a key role in developing and maintaining software for CoreData’s digital capabilities.

This Manila-based full-time role is best suited to candidates with 5+ years of production internet platform experience

Working with a team in Manila and supporting client managers in Australia, London and Boston, you will have the opportunity to be part of the exciting next phase of CoreData, building new research technologies

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join the team that develops and maintains all of CoreData’s digital capabilities. This involves:

• Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of CoreData’s servers
• Maintaining CoreData’s digital infrastructure in multiple AWS regions
• Supporting application developers through providing infrastructure
• Supporting key research databases

What you’ll bring to the role

• 5+ Years of production internet platform experience
• CS or EE Degree or 7 years of applicable experience
• Experience in shipping production software in a team
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering and Networking
• Experience with the following technologies and platforms
  • AWS Cloud product
  • Teraform HCL, Docker/CoreOS/Fargate
  • Linux
  • PHP and Node.js
• Desire to live and work in Manila
