Cloud Engineer  

Areas of Duties and Responsibilities

1. Participates in all aspect of the software development lifecycle for AWS Solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing and quality assurance.

2. Performs cloud performance analysis and optimize distributed cloud systems.

3. Ensures auto-provisioning of cloud AMI’s using Cloud Formation Templates and Lambda scripts.

4. Deploys systems using common AWS technologies like VPC, and regionally distributed EC2 instances, Docker, and serverless technologies.

5. Performs high-level, day-to-day operational administration of complex multi-user cloud?based computing systems including user management, audits, patches, and upgrades.

6. Ensures efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

7. Identifies, analyzes and resolves infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issue

Qualifications:

• At least three (3) years working experience operating AWS-based applcations
• Knowledge in provisioning, operating and maintaining systems on AWS
• Graduate of a four (4) year baccalaureate course ➢ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or other related courses
• Knowledge in application and data migration from and to AWS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills AWS Certification is a plus
• Identification and implementation of cost-effective technology solutions
