Overview:
The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing the organization’s digital marketing campaigns. These campaigns are implemented to drive and support the Bank’s business goals as well as execute key regulatory and account-related communications to customers. The Officer shall drive and implement these campaigns across various digital media channels such as but not limited to social media, email marketing, SMS, website, and SEM. The Officer is also responsible for management and coordination of the status of campaign implementations across various stakeholders such as Products, Decision Management, and Customer Experience.
This role requires strong project management and executional abilities, strong work ethics, and the ability to be resourceful and creative operationally and strategically. Prior experience in digital media or digital marketing and advertising is a bonus.
This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across website, social media, email, SMS, and other digital media channels
- Ensure smooth and timely execution of campaign launches. This includes functions such as:
- Campaign set-up and send-out of emails, SMS, and other communications to customers
- Publishing of materials on CIMB's social media accounts
- Maintaining updated information and banners across CIMB's social media accounts and website
- Champion and Subject Matter Expert (SME) of digital media channels managed by the Marketing team in terms of platform usage, best practices, and maximization of each platform’s functionalities
- Collaborate and coordinate across Marketing and its stakeholders on the campaign calendar and provide status reports on the progress of their launches
- Regularly review digital media analytics and metrics to report on campaign performance and provide analysis and recommendations
- Generate other ad hoc campaign delivery reports as requested by Marketing and its stakeholders
- Implement other projects that may be assigned by the Head of Marketing or Digital Marketing Manager

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing and Advertising, Communications, or any related field
- At least 1 year working experience is preferred; Fresh grads may apply
- Candidate with previous work experience in digital marketing, media buying
- Candidate with previous work experience in digital marketing, media buying, or digital advertising is a plus
- Highly meticulous and detail-oriented
- Reliable and good team player who enjoys a fast-paced and exciting environment
- Resourceful and a team player with the ability to be proactive and take initiative
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of digital media channels such as social media, email marketing, SMS marketing, and/or website management is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus
