Technical Writer  

Brankas is a cutting-edge provider of consumer and enterprise focused financial management software and systems. Brankas’ backend service-oriented architecture is entirely written in Go, and deployed on cloud-based systems (GCP, AWS), making heavy use of third-party systems and APIs.

Brankas is looking for a technical writter with previous experience in writting detailed technical document related to technology projects / products. Candidates should have a strong desire to work in a fast moving, but rigorous development environment, and should have been exposed into agile software engineering practices.

In this position, you will collaborate with engineers, business and operation team. You will have the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on the future technology of a fast growing fintech company and platform.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
• Research, develop and document technical design specifications
• Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
• Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

• Proven experience working in a technical writing position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, including visualization tools such as MS Visio or other alternatives (e.g. draw.io)
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
• Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
• Familiar with cloud technologies and software engineering practices is a big plus
• Experience working in software, banking, or ecommerce, is a plus
• Experience working with distributed remote teams is a plus
• Candidates must have excellent English communication skills and be independently driven to success
