We are recruiting for a global online community of over 5,500 customer support professionals that share their own experiences and expertise in the pursuit of helping each other grow. The client Slack group, is an active community of individuals where people go to ask questions, get help, or share news in their own life.
The Community Impact Coordinator role is designed to expand the client’s community-led initiatives by pro-actively seeking out new ideas, co-creating programs and activities for the support professionals within the Community who want to contribute to their own local communities through volunteering and engagement activities.
This role will be there to support these Community Members design, create and launch impact-driven events within their company and community.
The Community Impact Coordinator’s scope of work are the following:
Volunteer Program Development and Coordination
- Provide direction and coordination for volunteer teams and projects
- Conduct and/or arrange for volunteer orientation and training
- Develop and manage volunteer policies, procedures, and agreements
- Organize programs to recognize volunteer contributions
- Community Board Management (On the client Slack Channel)
- Help define and communicate the vision for the Community Board
- Organize and lead Community Board meetings
- Identify and develop support channels for Community Board members
- Create and execute a communications strategy
- Convert communication’s strategy into new partnerships, higher brand awareness, and potentially a larger and more sustainable scope of work
- Develop and implement a communications strategy around our volunteer program and the Community Board
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Previous experience working with community stakeholders in the context of development
- A keen understanding of the development sector and corporate social responsibility dynamics
- Impetus for building productive and sustainable partnerships with external stakeholders
- 2-3 years experience working in the development, NGO, or social impact sector, have a degree in community work, development, politics, or anything similar; skills in project management, communication, community mobilization, and advocacy building are welcome and a plus
