- The Ice Plant Operator, is responsible for operation and maintenance of ice making equipment and facilities of the company.
- Operate or tend equipment, such as cooling and freezing units, refrigerators, batch freezers, and freezing tunnels, to cool or freeze products, food, blood plasma, and chemicals.
- Operate, monitor and facilitate repair of refrigerating systems according to specifications
- Start and observe operation of ice making equipment. Monitor gauges and instruments and make adjustments to valves, controls and pumps to control the level of fluid, pressure and temperature in the system.
- Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and test components using appropriate testing equipment
- Replace and/or adjust worn or defective parts to facilitate repair of ice making equipment
- Give clear directions to foreign national and local national technicians as to what is expected of them. Inspect and monitor the work of foreign national and local national operators to ensure ice production is consistent and compliant with applicable health standards
- Document and submit weekly/monthly accomplishments in the absence of the Foreman to site leadership for consolidation into corporate reporting.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- 2 years' experience operating, maintaining and repairing ice making equipment and facilities
- Thorough understanding of refrigeration principles
- Prefer experience working with diverse cultures and various trade skills in an austere, hazardous environment
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Willing to work in Samal, Bataan
