We are seeking a professional Web developer focusing on utilizing their SEO, conversion optimization, and UI/UX skills and developing interactive solutions for our online customers. You will be working in a multi-skilled team contributing to online strategies as well as using your web development skills across both front and back-end code to build responsive websites, landing pages, as well as online marketing.

Job Description

As a Web Developer, you will design, build and execute a world-class online experience. With a strategic view and a customer centric approach to design, you will play an instrumental part in providing an innovative approach to the way our websites function and perform.

You will provide technical direction for SEO tasks as well as build landing pages, website conversions, template creation and to create tools and plugins that may help us improve our processes.

You will also learn a LOT through a collaborative crew that specialises in all things SEO, SEM, social media, and web design.

You should be passionately engaged with the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape, and have a finger on the changes that can help drive client success. This role is an opportunity for the right candidate to take on an exciting position in a fantastic workplace.

Requirements

• Outside the box thinking – one size does not fit all approach
• Experience across various CMS platforms; Wordpress, Magento, Shopify etc.
• PHP / MySQL Expert level
• HTML5, CSS3, Javasript Frameworks, CSS Frameworks and Responsive development
• Experience in the Digital sector. Experience working with CMS, Analytics suites, Google Adwords and other core Digital platforms
• Ability to set up tracking for paid media and websites using google tag manager, google analytics and facebook pixel.
• Demonstrated experience in modern front end web development
• Design and develop APIs
• Experience with build systems (Webpack/Gulp)
• Experience with version control (git)
• The ability to write maintainable and well structured code
• The ability to take designs from Photoshop through to pixel-perfect responsive web layouts
• Experience with content management systems (CMS)
• Understanding of web standards and best practices, including SEO
• An ability to clearly communicate technical jargon in plain language, both verbally and in writing
• A positive attitude, coupled with strong time management, problem solving and teamwork skills
