IT Auditor  

Role Summary:

The IT Auditor assists management and the board of directors in protecting the company and its reputation by examining, evaluating and improving effectiveness of internal control, risk management and governance systems and processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies
• Assisting in the preparation of IT audit programs for review by manager and evaluating results and findings upon completion of IT audits.
• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities, and create counteractive strategies to protect the network
• Review, evaluate, and test application controls
• Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures
• Provide recommendations and guidance on identified emerging issues on security and control risks
• Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings
• Ensure prepared audit deliverables complies with IIA standards and other regulatory requirements
• Effectively communicates and coordinates with ATRAM stakeholders to monitor and evaluate progress of audit engagements and other control-related activities
• Communicating results of IT audit projects to management and operations personnel directly involved with department projects.
• Assist in the timely preparation of audit reports for executive management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors, among others
• Stays abreast of advances in technology and IT auditing techniques; regularly share knowledge with staff and audit management; effectively interact with various levels of internal management.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• 2 years of work experience as an IT Auditor
• Knowledge in Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits
• Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies
• The ability to identify/assess business process and IT risks, design appropriate audit steps and plan, execute and wrap up audits
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
• Awareness to cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
