Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Marketing Head, the Marketing Assistant shall create
promotional collateral for Ateneo de Manila University Press’ various marketing
campaigns and branding efforts. This position is also tasked with helping identify
marketing trends and opportunities for growth.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Marketing Head in organizing the content calendar and executing marketing campaigns
- Designs promotional collateral including, but not limited to, catalogs, brochures, flyers, posters, email newsletters, and social media posts for distribution to the unit's various channels.
- Edits video materials for various book promotional programs online
- Administers the office website and social media pages
- Assists in organizing and coordinating events such as, but not limited to, book launches, conferences, and other book events
- Keeps abreast of innovative ways of marketing books, including the use of digital channels (i.e., social media, online book repositories, ecommerce sites, etc.).
- Assists in the distribution of marketing collaterals to authors and other promotional areas
- Provides administrative support to the marketing and sales team
- Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising or related field
- Related job or internship experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Passion for books, the publishing industry, design, and/or digital marketing and advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
- Demonstrate ability to adhere to deadlines and deliver high quality output
- Strong attention to detail and good organization skills
- Proficiency in Google applications like Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and in all MS Office applications
- Trustworthy, honest, and capable of discretion

Về Ateneo de Manila University
The Ateneo de Manila University (Ateneo) is one of the leading universities in the Philippines. More than 150 years in existence, the Ateneo has grown into a major Jesuit institution. Officially it became a university in 1959. It offers over 100 academic degree programmes.
Ateneo offers Basic Education (Grade School, Junior and Senior High School). In addition, the Loyola Schools (college) is made up of four schools (Social Sciences; Humanities; Science and Engineering; and Management) that offer graduate and undergraduate degrees, with a total enrolment of about 10,000 students per year. The Ateneo has 4 professional schools located in 3 campuses in Quezon City, Makati City and Pasig City (Business; Government; Law; and Medicine and Public Health), with about 4,000 professional postgraduate students.
