Miêu Tả Về Công Việc
- Receiving and prioritizing of incoming orders (Agents/Uncontrolled/Transit/etc.)
- Pull upcoming orders via SCP / mail and prioritize
- Document pull from E-file / shared folder and document completion and correctness check
- Pay, or arrange for payment of, taxes and duties on shipments
- Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures
- Request or compile necessary import documentation, such as commercial invoices, certificates of origin, cargo-control documents, etc.
- Advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, quotas, or other customs-related matters
- Classification of HS codes based on product codes
- Prepare regulatory or compliance documentation
- Data pull and file completion in forwarding system
- Ensure data completeness and correctness in forwarding system
- Communication with Customer Service, Panalpina export houses/Agents, Panalpina customs brokerage team
- Paying attention to customer specific instructions (given in general, instruction sheets or on specific shipments)
- Report irregularities in Incident Handling Tool (IHT)
- Escalation of irregularities to Customer Service / Manager
- Quality and compliance responsibilities under IMS / attention given to predetermined processes, SOPs
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Commercial / forwarding business education or work experience is a must
- Work experience in Service Center is an advantage
- Education and or Experience on Customs Broker is a must
- Licensed Customs Broker is preferred
- Experience in handling Australian or European clients preferred
- Good communication skills
