Software Engineer Lead  

Our client is searching for an experienced Software Engineer to lead one of our development teams in Manila. The right candidate will have a solid software engineering background which clearly demonstrates significant contributions to several development projects. Excellent technical, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills combined with an understanding of the software development lifecycle are essential. This position presents a great opportunity to join Our Client as a leader in one of our fastest growing engineering offices.

• Supervises individual contributors or support level employees engaged in technical, process, administrative support and/or entry level specialised discipline.
• Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
• Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
• Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
• Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Mathematics or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): C++ Language, Java, Perl, Object Oriented Programming.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
• Experience in leading a software engineering team
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL development, and database technologies and architectures
• Experience with object-oriented modeling, design, and application of design patterns
• Ability to drive team goals and communicate with a globally diverse team
• Self-motivated and independent
• Highly organized and detail oriented
