Essential Job Functions:

1. Organize the execution of purchasing functions like inquiries, negotiations and other placements to optimize time utilization;
2. Maintain constant communication with suppliers on the latest trend both local and imported, including supply situation and prices;
3. Handle bidding procedure for high-value requirements/projects and ensure that projects are properly documented;
4. Continuously improve procurement practices on materials purchased;
5. Institute measures to safeguard the company’s interest when dealing with suppliers and imposing penalty clauses.

Professional Experience and Required Qualifications:

1. Candidate must be a graduate of BS Industrial Engineering from a reputable university;
2. With at least 3-4 years related working experience in procurement role. Working experience in FMCG is an advantage;
3. With proficient MS Excel working knowledge required. Knowledge in computer automated system is an advantage;
4. Above average verbal and written English communication skills;
5. Flexible, able to work on own initiative, strong team player; effective and efficient interpersonal skills; highly motivated and driven to succeed.
