Learning Facilitator  

He/ She is a learning facilitator who explores and enhances learners’ capabilities by being open and sensitive to their varied needs and interests; and upgrades his/her teaching competencies to maximize the learners’ progress. A learning facilitator may be assigned to either the Regular Program or the Home Study Program.

• Observes the curricular program and implements approved syllabus for the subject assigned to him/her.
• Plans learning activities considering the individual needs of each learner in relation to the skills he/she is supposed to study.
• Prepares modules, learning activities, visual aids and tests required of a given subject.
• Recommends the acquisition of instructional and reference materials to the Subject Coordinator concerned.
• Conducts the learning process in accordance with the mastery learning program.
• Implements the school’s guidelines on classroom management.
• Implements the rules and regulations of the school for learners as contained in the Learner’s Handbook and instructions issued by the school authorities from time to time.
• Ensures the safety and confidentiality of the learner’s mastery and mastery activities and achievement tests.
• Checks learner’s performance in pre-mastery and mastery activities and achievement tests.
• Gives a fair evaluation of each learner’s performance or achievements according to prescribes standards.
• Updates the Learner’s Progress Report and Learner’s Profile and the weekly report and Subject Facilitator’s Record.
• Takes note of the behavioral performance of learners under his/her care.
• Coordinates with the moderator, subject coordinator, and other subject/level facilitators or with the Guidance Counselors on the learners’ academic and behavioral performance.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned to him by his superiors from time to time.
