Area Operations Manager  

• Coordinate with Retail Operations Manager, Franchisees, and/or his designated representative in formulating action plans to ensure that the stores attain or exceed their sales targets and reach high levels of profitability.
• Manage overall store operations performance of franchise stores in his/her assigned area.
• Ensure that store operation is financially feasible and profitable in his/her assigned area based on targets set by management
• Assist in developing and improving the Sales performance of the franchise stores in his/her assigned area to achieve the targets set by management.
• Assist the FOA(s) in developing monthly activities to improve brand awareness and sales of the company owned store in his/her assigned area.
• Monitor and ensure timely completion in terms of deadlines and achieving the results set for each planned activity of all company owned stores in his/her assigned area.
• Communicate sales status, issues, and/or concerns with executive management, team members, etc. for improvement of Franchise store.
• Prepare and deliver executive presentations and reports to management on a monthly basis on whenever needed.
• Ensure performance improvements in the monthly compliance audits of the franchise stores in his/her assigned area.
• Assist the FOA(s) in reviewing and/or selecting of Corporate accounts and monitor their monthly performance and contract compliance.
• Maximize sales and help FOA(s) through effective management of retail space, stock control/inventory management, and the highest levels of Customer Service.
• Ensure that all requests by FOA/s related to their respective stores are within the company’s policies and procedures.
• Approve all operational requests of Franchise stores within his/her assigned area as long as these are within his approval limits.
• Assist in ensuring the timely processing of these requests to ensure the smooth and continuous flow of operations of the stores.
• Create and maintain excellent internal and external working relations that promote the brand and company.
• Continuously explore opportunities to affect additional cost savings and improve service standards.
• Ensure effective communication between Store Supervisor and the Operations teams.
• Assist Business Development team in determining new locations for franchise stores in his/her area
• Assist Business Development team in negotiating and dealing with Lessors of properties leased by Franchise stores to ensure smooth operation of the stores in his/her assigned area.
• Ensure the timely and proper preparation of Incident reports for store personnel that have violated company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in any Business related course.
• 5 years of relevant experience as a Store Supervisor of a retail store.
• Present experience as Operation Supervisor handling multiple stores/areas.
• Experience in the Pharma Retail industry would be a distinct advantage.
