Social Worker (Bantay Bata 163)  

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

• Assists in program and financial planning and implementation of commitments based on MOA with partners
• Assists in preparation of proposal for partnerships with LGUs/NGAs with guidance of the Senior Social Worker
• Serves as Bantay Bata-Manila focal person for volunteer engagement and management
• Submits reports on project implementation to the Senior Social Worker
• Handles cases of children needing social work intervention/support as assigned, and ensures completed staff work
• Assists in the implementation of various advocacy initiatives to heighten the awareness and involvement of the general public in Bantay Bata
• Ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of program services delivery to the target beneficiaries
• Assists in ensuring BB’s compliance with regulatory requirements
• Implements control measures for accountability and transparency on donations received and in all BB transactions

ADMINISTRATION

• Maintains updated database of Bantay Bata clients served.
• Prepares project documents involving CBPS operations for signing
• Attends staff meetings; implements and complies with meeting decisions/agreements
• Responsible for the updating/safekeeping of all documents/data related to the program/project implementation.

UNIT REPRESENTATION/NETWORKING

• Establishes and maintains strong partnership with government, private sectors, NGOs as well as with individual donors locally and abroad to gain their continuing support to Bantay Bata and ABS-CBN Foundation ass a whole.
• Coordinates with other Bantay Bata programs, ABS-CBN Foundation support services and ABS-CBN units on program concerns

• Bachelor of Science in Social Work
• Passed the Social Work Board for eligibility
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Undertaken trainings in Paralegal work, Gender Sensitivity, Positive Discipline, Psychosocial and Support interventions for Abused Children
