Logistics Supervisor | Toledo City, Cebu  

Position Summary:

This position is responsible in coordinating and liaising directly with the Plant Management on activities related to plant performance, delivery of coal, light fuel oil, and/or limestone and sand. Manages shipment-related service providers such as Customs Brokers, Shipping Agents, Stevedores, etc. as well as Coal Reselling and Fly Ash sales activities of FMT.

It will will also be a stakeholder champion for all site-related stakeholders and assist in Corporate Social Responsibility-related activities in the plant in coordination with the Reputation and Stakeholder Management group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises the receiving of coal shipments and coordinates with Coal Plant for the efficient discharging of coal vessels.
• Coordinates and liaises with Plant Management for concerns pertaining to Fuel Management.
• Presides and or prepares/keeps minutes of coordination meetings with TeaM Energy Management to discuss operational issues pertaining to coal and light fuel oil deliveries at the plant.
• Oversees submitted coal samples handled by the Logistics Assistant and ensures that they are analyzed by the site laboratory with agreed lead time and results are forwarded to the latter.
• Monitors the Light Fuel Oil (LFO) inventory and coordinates with the immediate superior on the schedule and purchase of LFO necessary to the plant.
• Supervises the deliveries of LFO to the plant and receives and signs the documents pertaining to its delivery.
• Ensures that coal samples obtained during discharging as well as LFO samples taken during deliveries are sent to NAC for analysis.
• Monitors coal and LFO inventory of the plant and prepares daily inventory reports.
• Supervises the conduct of volumetric survey of coal stockpiles, as well as LFO tank sounding.
• Acts as a stakeholder engagement champion for assigned stakeholders such as: Team Energy, PPA, Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ), pilots and shipment-related contractors.
• Coordinates gate pass, safety orientation, safety equipment and other administrative requirements of TLI visitors and contractors.
• Monitors utilization of office & safety supplies and materials requirements of the site.
• Prepares budget for on-site Fuel Management activities.
• Submits Expense Reports and coordinates with immediate superior as to the effective and efficient utilization of budget.
• Acts as relationship champion for identified stakeholders
• Oversees the coal and fly ash sales operational activities such as: monitoring of coal and fly ash hauling, supervision of heavy equipment operators, truck scale weighing, barge loading and surveying
• Secures permits and clearances related to coal reselling or fly ash sales
• Assists in the preparation of terms of reference, for any related services that may be needed for coal reselling and fly ash sales

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Customs Administration, or related course
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics function of a power/industrial plant or related industry
• At least 2 years of leadership experience
