Miêu Tả Về Công Việc
Will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure effective and efficient business operations. The position is responsible for the reconciliation of bank statements, monthly journal entries, general ledger maintenance, supervision and oversight of all accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures propriety of accounting entries both in Dollar and Peso books.
- Responsible for the Monthly Closing of GL accounts.
- Prepares Journal Vouchers and manages the Journal Voucher filing system
- Prepares all account schedules every month end.
- Performs bank reconciliation procedures for all cash accounts on a monthly basis.
- Monitors and investigates the propriety of GL accounts.
- Prepares and updates Capex reports on a semi-monthly basis.
- Prepares monthly O&M Cost Reports.
- Monitors and updates Fixed Assets Lapsing Schedule.
- Handles insurance-related jobs such as cover, claim, and submission of documents to the trustee.
- Handles documentation for VAT recovery (application for TCC).
- Assists in the preparation of reports in compliance with government reportorial requirements (ERC, BSP, DOE, BOI, etc).
- Prepares a report on foreign exchange borrowings (TSG Form 2) and report on foreign exchange transactions (FETR Form A).
- Coordinates with internal and external auditors and handles the preparation of audit schedules.
- Handles the preparation of audit schedules for BIR examination.
- Monitors timely collection from NPC (for trade accounts). Analyses collection received against billing and reports discrepancies, if any.
- Maintains complete file of all NPC invoices.
- Prepares billing statements for non-trade accounts and ensures timely collection.
- Obtains Export Price Index and Retail Price Index for NPC billing adjustments.
- Issues Official Receipts for cash/checks received and deposits all collections on within the same day or if not possible, the next banking day.
- Monitors timely liquidation of employee advances. Issues reminder notices to employees with outstanding advances. Handles recording of all liquidation reports and ensures that these are properly approved by designated officers (in accordance with the Delegated Authorities).

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy holder
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- With at least 2 years of related work experience
