Environmental Compliance Liaison Officer  

This position shall be responsible in ensuring the environmental compliance of all project sites with the applicable environmental laws, rules and regulations including but not limited to the conditions stipulated in the issued Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and other environment-related permits/ licenses. This position shall also coordinate with the Pollution Control Officers on the regular monitoring and reporting of all environmental matters, issues/ concerns that may arise throughout the duration of the project. This position shall also liaise with the different government agencies for the sound implementation of environmental management consistent with the national regulations and company objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide assistance and support to all environment requirements and compliances
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Report any environmental incidents to the involved government agency, LGU, and company
• Create performance monitoring per project related to environment rules and regulation as well as ensuring that the projects are complying with it
• Act as a forest management specialist of the group
• Collaborate with the Stakeholder Compliance Team, in getting necessary environmental documents such as SLUP and FLAg
• Prepares monthly report of environmental statistics per project every month; also prepares regulatory reports
• Assist in reviewing contractors bidding and tendering documents
• Coordinate and process environmental study per project including third party services, if necessary

Willing to travel or be relocated to the project sites.

• At least 2 years experience as Environmental Specialist/Forest Management Specialist
• Bachelor's degree in any Engineering course or environmental course
• Must be able to attain Pollution Control Officer accreditation within 1 year
• Knowledgeable in environmental assessment (monitoring and audit) and environmental management systems
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
