Associate General Counsel | Governance and Compliance  

The Associate General Counsel – Governance and Compliance is responsible for assisting the AVP – Governance and Compliance in the preparation of reports for SEC, PSE, and other relevant regulatory bodies. She/he will be drafting memos, preparing the minutes of the meeting, and generating regular reports as required for the business units he/she will be handling.

From time to time, he/she may be required to assist in due diligence, perform legal research, and draft official letters as may be needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare, attend, and draft minutes of the meeting of assigned business units.
• Ensure that assigned business units in the Aboitiz Group are compliant with the filing and reportorial requirements to the SEC, PSE, and PDEx.
• Ensure that the corporate records of the assigned business units are updated, accessible, and accurate.
• Ensure that requests of customers for the assigned business units are accurate and delivered on time.
• Perform other tasks that the immediate team leader, or the AEV Corporate and Asst. Corporate Secretaries may require

• Must have obtained a law degree
• Must be a bar passer and a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
• With 3-5 years of experience in a business environment or in a law firm
• Experience in handling publicly listed companies preferred
