Engineering and Design Manager  

● Ensuring the department is properly organized and equipped with the necessary hardware, software, and personnel to adequately perform all the tasks required; Aligning, directing and implementing department’s role to the company’s strategic plans.
● Reporting of periodic design projects status and accomplishments to the management
● Ensuring all the risks to the company that are associated with the department are identified and considered.
● Providing direction for the department in the areas of training, goal setting, and personnel development, ensuring that all members of the department are clear on their respective accountabilities and responsibilities.
● Mentoring and coaching to the department leaders.
● Requesting inquiries and recommending design specialty contractors.
● Ensuring implementation of the department's quality standard aligning with the company’s quality management standard.
● Accountable to the department’s design project execution.
● Preparing the department's annual budget for management’s approval.
● Performing other related tasks as assigned by the team leader.

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in a field relevant to the industry (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering). Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Master's degree, Professional Engineer license) is preferred.
● More than 15 years significant experience in engineering design, preferably in a 5 years and up managerial or leadership role.
● In-depth knowledge and expertise in engineering principles, design methodologies, and relevant software tools (e.g., CAD software, simulation tools).
● Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
● Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Experience in overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and design to implementation and completion.
● Ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems, often under tight deadlines and resource constraints.
