AWS Glue Developer  

• Contribute in the development and implementation of ETL processes within a complex and multi-platform environment.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards across the enterprise.
• Support software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
• Understand the business and enable the full life cycle of development/ reporting/ integration projects: planning, design, develop, testing and rollout that confirms to Agile Standards

Junior Level:

• At least 1 year of experience or newly graduate with Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skill
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in building data pipelines a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques

Mid-Level:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• Must have at least 2-6 years working experience
• Experienced in using any of the following cloud services:
• Compute: Lambda, EC2, Step Functions, Azure Functions Serverless Compute, Azure Virtual Machine, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine
• Containers: ECS, AKS, Google Kubernetes Engine
• Endpoint: API Gateway, Azure Deployment Manager, Cloud Endpoints
• Management Tool: Cloudformation, Azure Deployment Manager, Cloud Deployment Manager
• Operation: Cloudwatch, Azure Monitor, Cloud Monitoring
• Data Analytics: Kinesis, ElasticSearch, RDS, RedShift, SQS, AWS Glue, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics Bus Messaging, Azure Data Factory, Pub/Sub, Cloud Data Fusion
• Security and Identity: Cognito, ECR, Azure Active Directory and Container Registry, Artifact Registry
• Serverless: DynamoDB, EventBridge, SNS; Azure CosmosDB, Event Grid, Notification Hubs; Firebase Realtime DB, Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Storage: S3, Azure Storage, Cloud Storage
• Frontend Languages: Node.js, Python
• Experienced data pipeline builder, optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.
• An aspiration to fulfill a role as an Expert/Architect on leading technical projects.
• Excellent communicator and good personal skills
• Internal/external advisory/consulting experience

Senior Level:

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• Must have at least 6+ years working experience
• An aspiration to fulfill a role as an Expert/Architect on leading technical projects.
• Excellent communicator and good personal skills
• Internal/external advisory/consulting experience
• Demonstrated client management and relationship skills
• Experience on either BI Reporting or ETL is required.
