ZEN Rooms, the game-changer startup in the hospitality industry, is searching for a Sr. Data Scientist to expand its successful business.
About the role:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated and fully tested data pipelines, data integration solutions and data analytics to support our business needs
- Design, implement and improve on-premise and cloud data infrastructure to enable more frequent and accurate business intelligence delivery
- Continuously discover actionable insights into current business performance, and ad hoc investigations into future improvements or innovations
- Develop process to improve database performance, scalability and security.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 5+ industrial experience as a Software Developer/Data Engineer
- Professional experience with SQL, ETL development, and data warehousing
- Professional experience with AWS Cloud architectures and services, including Redshift and RDS
- Professional experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in large data warehouse environments
- Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
- An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing startup environment
