ZEN Rooms, the game-changer startup in the hospitality industry, is searching for a General Accountant to expand its successful business.

About the Role

The General Accountant will play a key role in bringing the Finance Team to the next level, meticulous on detail regarding the different financial processes and documents. They will further push through by keeping the company cost efficient.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Report directly to Finance and Accounting Manager
• Ensure that all payment requests are processed with the proper source documents are on time and approved
• Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules and analyze variances, comparing it with previous months and budgets
• Collaborate with various departments on accruals and other monthly close areas
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditors
• In-charge of preparing weekly book updates and prepare accurate accounting schedule on a timely manner

What profile are we looking for?

Academic and Work Experience

• Must be a registered CPA
• Must have at least 2 years experience in general accounting

• Open to take on responsibility and work under pressure
• Detail driven and meticulous
• Ready to experience the pace and fast growth of an eCommerce startup
• Analytical & has a problem-solving attitude

Skill Sets

• Must be proficient in Excel
