- Solid expertise in managing large scale enterprise server infrastructure using Unix based operating systems in a 24x7 mission critical production environments
- Provides solid expertise to implement and support complex Unix OS based infrastructure.
- Provides server performance monitoring and fine tuning
- Proactively seeks for deficiencies and provides suggestions to improve infrastructure and processes in order to improve availability and serviceability of the infrastructure
- Works closely with Database Administrators, Storage Analysts, Application Support and other groups in order to provide fast problem resolution and to improve client experience
- Proactively looks for opportunities and provides suggestions in improving system availability and ability to save cost
- Involves and participates in resource management and the development of capacity plans based on historical trends and business drivers
- Requires being aware of new directions in the areas of operating systems, computer systems
- Determines level of availability for business requirements when implementing new designs
- Identifies and documents availability shortfalls and develop corrective action plans
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Minimum of 4 years solid experience in UNIX server administration
- Tools: Clustering Technologies – Veritas, SUN Clustering, Linux Clustering, Veritas Foundation Suite, Solaris Volume Manager
- Software: Shell scripting and other scripting methodology
- Hardware, O/S: Linux, SUN/Solaris (Solaris 10) , IBM/AIX, HP-UX
- Others: VMware ESX, Firewall
- Amenable to work in Ortigas
- Amenable to work on a night shift
