Về Tulay Sa Pag-Unlad Inc

Tulay sa Pag-unlad, Inc. (TSPI) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 20 October 1981 as a non-profit development corporation. It was founded by a group of Christian businessmen and professionals who shared the common vision of reaching out to microentrepreneurs to help them grow their enterprises so they can create jobs for their community. In 1982, TSPI launched the Small and Enterprise Development Program and disbursed loan to its first client. The next few years saw TSPI change office headquarters from Quezon City, Pasig City, and Makati City aside from slowly introducing its loan programs that will be the basis of its current product portfolio: the Sakbayan (transport) Program in 1989, the Kabuhayan (Livelihood) Program in 1992, and the TSPI Palayan (Rice) Program for smallholder farmers in 2005, among others, which later became TSPI Agri-Lending Program offering loans for other crops such as corn and high value crops.
