  1. Sets or establishes sales strategies to stay competitive and innovative
  2. Identifies sales opportunities by analyzing consumer requirements; defining target markets, competitors’ share, and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses; forecasts sales growth; establishes target market share.
  3. Facilitates the Business Planning process in the department/assigned teams
  4. Cascades important information discussed during the Management Committee meetings to all department members/assigned teams
  5. Develops and delivers sales communication strategies for the company
  6. Makes sales presentations that demonstrate capabilities/expertise to meet the needs of target customers.
  7. Accomplishes business objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating key operational activities in the following areas:
  8. Reports and ensures sales activities translate to achievement of established goals/targets (volume/revenues)
  9. Conducts customer research using available market/industry materials and excerpts.
  10. Prospects new customers (domestic/international) through cold calls and referrals.
  11. Monitors change in market conditions and competitor activities and develop appropriate action plans.
  12. Cooperates negotiates, and contracts with outsourced logistics service providers to develop 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) solutions for clients
  13. Liaises and collaborates with internal teams to ensure that sales scorecard/metrics/milestones are met
  14. Identifies and resolves operational (sales) roadblocks, and initiates appropriate measures
  15. Manages the resources of the department/assigned teams prudently, ensuring that these are maximized to achieve the goals of the department
  16. Keeps or remains up-to-date with the customers’ preferences or needs, and prepares relevant recommendations on new or revised strategic opportunities.
  17. Facilitates business reviews of current customers to identify new opportunities and improve service levels and increase sales.
