Billing and Collection Officer  

A billing and collection officer is responsible for obtaining payments due to a client. Billing and collections officer coordinates with sales dept and customers who haven't paid either by phone, mail or both. They often keep track of accounts receivables in timely manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares billing statements and collection notices.
• Communicates & follow up effectively with sales department regarding customer accounts receivables on a timely basis.
• Coordinates with customers thru phone,email or personal meeting regarding collection updates.
• Identify when deliquents accounts need to be called based on their payment terms.
• Communicates with sales and customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
• To compile and submit information about problem accounts to the department manager.
• Filling documents for collection purpose.
• Prepares reports and also do reporting regarding accounts receivable updates to sales agents.
• Accountable for achieving billing and collection targerts.
• Do field work if necessary.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in billing and collection.
• Strong analytical skills and keen on details.
• Highly-organized and has a strong sense of ownership.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Can provide proactive measures on delinquent accounts.
• Amenable to work in Quezon City
