Cashier  

The cashier will be in-charge of day-to-day payment transactions and inquiries of clients and customers in the Deli Store/Bistro.

*Responsible for the processing of sales transactions in accordance with established customer service and operating policies and procedures.
*Responsible for the efficient processing of customer's payment - no shortage or overage.
*Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits and issues official receipts.
*Ensures that total sales transactions tally with the cash on hand. Reconciles total payments received with total sales.
*Safe keeps all cash payment and petty cash funds (As petty cash custodian, all petty cash vouchers must be ensured to be duly accomplished and approved).
*Properly accomplish and submit the Daily Sales Reports (DSR) on time to the Supervisor for checking.
*Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
*Maintains awareness of all sales and marketing promos, including discounts.
*Process merchandise return and exchange.
*Ensure that special discounts are properly handled.
*Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of check-out areas.
*Bags the purchased items.
*Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
*Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits.
*Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
*Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
*Greet customers entering the bistro.
*Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
*Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admimission, and tabulate bills using POS.

• Preferrably College level/Associate level graduate
• Good communication skills
• With relevant work experience
• Willing to be employed under a cooperative (4th Dimension Multipurpose Cooperative)
