Back End Developer  

OfficeBee is a white-label Marketplace and eProcurement SaaS company. We're currently hiring experienced Backend Engineers to develop and maintain our eProcurement and marketplace engine. As a backend engineer, you'll be tasked with designing, developing, testing, and implement API services to be consumed by other teams (frontend developers, mobile app developers, etc). This position requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Scope of Work

1. Develop a system based on security, architecture, and scalability standards defined by the company.
2. Actively involved in maintaining and optimizing code and services in the company's engine.
3. Actively doing research to introduce enhancement for company's solution

OfficeBee Tech Stack

We use Python as our main language for backend development. While Python proficiency is not mandatory for your application, experience in developing using Python will be a plus.

Our system is built around REST API. Services you built will be consumed by other developers (Frontend, Mobile) that used (mostly) JavaScript framework.

Automated testing is crucial in our development flow, as it'll help ensure code quality and minimize issues during integration with other teams.

• Min. 3 years of experiences
• Experienced in developing, maintaining, and optimizing application with minimum hundreds of users
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experienced in building a stable, secure, and scalable application
• Good in math and logical thinking
• Good understanding of Python and JavaScript
• Experienced with SQL (query optimization, indexing, etc)
• Good understanding of versioning tools such as Git
• Committed to do research and learn new technology to support the further enhancement of the company's application
• Committed to project's timeline
• Willing to collaborate (especially during office hours) with other team members remotely
