Marketing Associate

This position is responsible for the company's online marketing initiatives, particularly focusing on SEM, social media, display and mobile marketing. The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple campaigns and projects at the same time. He/she will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, taking direction, receiving feedback and executing accordingly.

Key Activities

• Monitor and report, on a weekly and monthly basis, on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels, using these statistics to influence future digital activity. Also monitor the return on investment for the different online marketing campaigns.
• With the rest of the marketing team, act as brand guardian in terms of look, feel, and tone of voice of online communications
• Manage the company's local website using Wordpress: managing and updating content, keyword research and page optimization
• Oversee PPC campaigns: conduct keyword research, monitor results and make recommendations to improve performance
• Manage digital advertising campaigns: recommend the appropriate channels, develop the proper messaging, work with the graphic design associate to create the relevant visuals, and monitor results
• Manage the company's social media accounts, ensuring all copy is relevant for the different platforms
• Manage the content calendar for social media
• Work with bloggers and influencers to promote and get across the right message regarding the company to the relevant market
• Monitor social media for company mentions and engage with customers where relevant
• Keep up to date with changes and advances in online marketing, and advise new channels and approaches to adopt

Secondary Activities

• Write and dispatch email marketing campaigns
• Manage in-app marketing communications (e.g., push notifications)
• Write optimized copy for publishing in the company's blog and other relevant channels
• Perform any other duty as required commensurate with the post

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor degree
• Minimum 1-2 years online marketing experience particularly on social media, search engine marketing, and digital and mobile advertising, ideally from the same or similar industry
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, Power Point
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Wordpress

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Knowledge of CRM, social media management and email marketing software/platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Marketo, HootSuite) and other relevant analytics software and tools
