Accountant  

You will…

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Document financial transactions by encoding account information
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and managing policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for the payroll process.
• Guide accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial reports and other related documents (i.e. invoices, receipts, ledgers, etc.)
• Manage company financial planning and reporting process and monitor operational expenditures, revenue and resources.
• Be responsible for Cashflow planning process.
• Prepare and ensure timely submission of government mandated monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.
• Ensure company’s compliance with taxation rules and laws.
• Be responsible for management accounting and key performance management.
• Implement best practices and tools across the Tapp organization.

We’re looking for an Accountant for Team Philippines.

Your job is to lead the accounting team, ensure compliance with government rules and regulations on taxation, manage company financial planning and reporting as well as develop the processes related to company’s financial management.

Your survival toolkit includes…

• Degree in Accounting with minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• Strong sense of integrity and discipline.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Preliminary experience with Xero a plus
• Bravery to explore, challenge and make mistakes
• Startup attitude.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
