UI/UX Designer  

Purveyor of cool yet effective visual experiences particularly in user interfaces for games and apps, the UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing a wide variety of art in both digital and analog formats. The most essential skill in the UI/UX Designer should have is visualizing and applying the entire user experience journey and translating that into an effective, world-class user interface. UI/UX Designers are self-starters and are capable of delivering creative ideas while showing amazing attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Graphic Designer / Illustrator
• Studies current trends in UI/UX and apply them to the games and applications of Taktyl Studios
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangements, size, and style and submitting them for approval
• Communicating with the team about layout and design
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary
• Contributing of team team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
• Understands the analytics behind user experiences and provide and execute suggestions taht will boost usability and user satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools
• A strong eye for visual composition
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Able to give and receive constructive cristicism
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisments and multimedia design
• The desire and ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic enviroment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with matters of general geekiness
