2D Artist/ Animator  

Must be a well versed and knowledgeable 2D artist with strong foundation on drawing skills and graphic design. As a 2D Artist, you will need to provide the different requirements ranging from concept art, character design, UI assets, and other 2D assets for both print and digital mediums. You should be collaborative, open to criticisms, reliable and versatile. As a part of the team, you should also have good communication, interpersonal skills and computer skills.

2D Artist Responsibilities

• Create 2D assets for games, promos, print, and animation.
• Collaborate with the production team members to understand project requirements.
• Use industry standard software and other techniques to produce the assets.
• Participate in internal and client discussions, to provide graphic solutions, or to adjust accordingly to project demands.
• Ensure that the final product aligns with the company standard, and client requirements.
• Present and collaborate with the team for feedback and mutual improvement.
• Using creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in visual form.
• Research industry trends and developments and learning new applications.

2D Artist Requirements

• An impressive Portfolio and Demo Reel.
• Solid drawing skill foundations: Perspective, Anatomy, etc.
• Education / Experience / Proficiency with industry software practice and platforms.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills.
• Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
• Ability to work independently or with a team to develop 2D assets and solve problems.

Specialty Requirements (Animation)

• Understanding and application of Animation Principles.
• Experience with various animation techniques: Hand Drawn, Cutout, Mesh, Skeletal, etc.
