3D Artist  

We are looking for a well versed and knowledgeable generalist with a firm grasp in modeling, uv mapping, texturing, animation. As a 3D Generalist, you will need to provide the different requirements ranging from character models, background, animation, rigs and lights. You should be collaborative, open to criticisms, reliable and versatile. As a part of the team, you should also have good communication, interpersonal skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production team members to understand project requirements, create/ adjust uv maps, texture characters, animate, and create other 3D assets.
• Using software and other techniques to produce the asset requirements.
• Participate in internal and client discussions, to provide 3D art solutions, or to adjust accordingly to project demands.
• Ensure that the final product aligns with the company standard, and client requirements.
• Present and collaborate with the team for feedback and mutual improvement.
• Using creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in visual form.
• Research industry trends and developments and learning new applications.

Requirements

• An impressive Portfolio and Demo Reel.
• Training/ education background, or experience, and proficiency with industry software platforms and practices.
• Expertise with Autodesk Maya is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills.
• Understanding of modeling, uv mapping, texturing and animation.
• Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
• Ability to work independently or with a team to develop 3D assets and solve problems.
