Process Management Specialist  

Responsibilities

• Optimizes business processes by increasing process effectiveness through quality and productivity improvements, and at the same time ensures effective risk management. Establishes work standards.
• Conducts work/process improvement studies. Coordinates and participates actively in various Process Management initiatives.
• The incumbent is expected to handle well his/her own process improvement projects with minimal supervision.
• The incumbent need to possess comprehensive and highly specialized knowledge of specific function/improvement process as well as sound business/industry knowledge.

Major Accountabilities:

• Conduct Operational Efficiency/ Process Optimization studies, recommends alternative solutions and implements the approved method changes that support the achievement of the OE objectives.
• Develops a cohesive set of solutions in complex, unstructured environments with minimal supervision.
• Establishes work methods and time standards for new and existing operations based on method/process analysis, methods and time studies, and application of historical standard data.
• Coordinates with various stakeholders and implement approved method changes.
• Develops and maintains a labor standards database for the current business that allows easy estimation of cost impact to client, and/or internally proposed changes (financial impact reports for changes/improvements).
• Conduct financial cost and benefits analysis. Validates improvement results.
• Conduct capacity planning and review with the different business units in order to define the FTE requirement and other resources required to help the organization prepare for growth.
• Captures metrics that could be used for process comparison either with competitor/industry standard or even to select a best of breed process through simulation.
• Partners with Phil-IT/IT-Shared Services peers to understand and represent the relationship between business processes, applications, data, technology and organizations that perform these business functions
• Collaborate with other PMT units regarding PMT-related business concerns.
• Ensures process standardization through process documentation, and proper coordination of new standards to process owners and unit heads.

• Education
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Statistics, or Management preferably graduate of Industrial Engineering
  • Preferably Certified Industrial Engineer / Professional Industrial Engineer.
  • Certified Practitioner in Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement methodology.
  • Project Management Certification a plus
• Experience
  • 2 to 5 years process improvement/project/ change management experience
  • Experience in facilitating problems-solving activities, training sessions (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
