Senior Android Developer

Summit Digital websites lead the industry in reaching targeted audiences passionate about a wide range of interests—fashion, beauty, food, entertainment, home, travel, motoring, business, and pop culture.

The senior android developer plays an integral part of the build, test, integration and delivery phases of mobile application development. Will work closely with project managers and media designers or internal teams to ensure the final product adheres to the scope and design.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will:

Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Trình độ tối thiểu

Has Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git
