Legal Manager  

Objectives:

To provide legal support in matters pertaining to trade, investment and corporate affairs matters.

To provide legal support in matters affecting the operations and the commercial and corporate affairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In particular, the Legal Manager will have the following main duties and responsibilities, as may be required by the relevant company/affiliate:

• Drafts, prepares and reviews contracts and renders legal advice and opinions on operational and commercial transactions
• Legal guidance and assessment required of corporate and commercial transactions and projects
• Provides the legal requirements of internal business units
• Legal guidance/advice in the formulation, interpretation, and implementation of corporate policies and regulations
• Legal support and representation in connection with claims and disputes and management of case portfolio (e.g. civil, criminal, labor, administrative and intellectual property)
• Compliance and housekeeping and management of the reportorial requirements of government agencies
• Trademark registrations and monitoring
• Coordinate with the relevant units for the effective and efficient implementation of the foregoing duties and responsibilities

• Graduate of Juris Doctors
• Has at least 3 to 5 years of combined work experience in a law firm and for a legal department
