Financial Planning Supervisor  

• To supervise, direct and control the operations of the Financial Services & Planning Section (under Accounting & Finance Department) which includes: insurance management, trademarks & patent monitoring, tax planning & government compliance, retirement fund administration, data library and minor legal matters.
• Other function also includes: budget & forecasting, debt-equity management, feasibility studies and cost-savings strategies. This position is commissioned to ensure the implementation of sound accounting system, control and standards.
• Develop and maintain activities/calendar/timelines/deliverables for the Annual Budgeting Process.
• Initiate the budget process by coordinating with managers in all lines of service and constructing a top-to-bottom financial model including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. lementation of sound accounting system, control and standards. ontrol and standards.
• Conducts performance appraisal; trains, coaches and mentors staff to strengthen their skills and work effectively on assigned tasks.
• Selects and recommends hiring of qualified applicants for the section’s vacancy
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by superiors

Educational Background

Graduate of BS Accountancy; Preferrably CPA;

Work Experience

With at least 3 years experience related to the function

Technical Skills

Knowledgeable in Budgeting preparation and Government reportorial requirements and/ or deadlines compliance in areas like, City Governments, BIR, BFAD & SEC; strong analytical skills

Preferred Skills

With advance computer skills, excel, word & powerpoint and Microsoft Dynamics ERP system

Required Competencies

Can create financial model, analyze, interpret and present complex annual financial reports, statements, and/or projections. Abilty to prioritzed and with a sense of urgency.
