Human Resources (HR) Generalist  

The role of the HR GENERALIST is to provide active assistance in the implementation of HR processes and procedures in the area of recruitment, records management, labor relations and other HR-related functions.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition
  • Assists in sourcing candidates by posting openings via multiple online channels
  • Reviews applicants’ resumes and shortlists those qualified for interview
  • Coordinates with applicants and sets interview schedule
  • Coordinates internally with managers and adds interview schedule to their online calendars
  • Prepares job offers and emails them to successful candidate
• 201 Files Maintenance and Records Management
  • Organization and maintenance of employees 201 files
  • Maintenance and updating of 201 file inventory and database
  • Monitoring of consumed leaves
• Labor Relations
  • Main point-of-contact for employee/labor relations
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
• General Assistance
  • Prepares monthly birthday announcements
  • Prepares list of new employees for town hall meetings
  • Cater to employees and ex-employees requests for documents/ certificates e.g. Certificate of Employment, Clearance Certificate, etc.
  • Prepares leaves summary when requested by employee
  • Plans special events like Christmas parties, town halls, etc.
• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time

• Graduate of any Bachelor's degree, specialization in Human Resources is preferred
• 2-4 years experience in an HR Administrative function
• Must be highly-organized, detail-oriented, and keen in meeting deadlines
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills
• Must have professional maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and satisfaction from working with people
• Must be able to work both independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent knowledge in MS Office is required
