Electrical Technology Instructor  

Subjects to be handled:

1. ELT 203 - Laboratory Subject
2. ELT 302 - Laboratory Subject

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Identify the needs of the learners.
2. Plan, prepare and deliver course syllabus and instructional materials that facilitate learning activities and as to the identified needs.
3. Develop scheme of work, lesson plans and test according to the established protocol.
4. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
5. Manage student discipline by establishing and enforcing classroom rules and regulations.
6. Maintain accurate and complete students’ progress and report.
7. Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and immediate head/chairperson/dean/coordinators.
8. Establish and communicate clear learning objectives.
9. Observe and evaluate the students’ performance and development, record rating in an approved and appropriate documentation records.
10. Participate in the department/college/university meetings, programs and activities and other extra-curricular activities.
11. Make oneself available for consultation, academic advising and other relevant functions that develop the students’ well-being.
12. Participate in formulating the research agenda of the university.
13. Encourage students to become creative, innovative and productive researchers.
14. Publish researchers/articles/monographs in recognized local journals and magazines.
15. Participate in extension programs aimed at developing and implementing projects that help preserve indigenous culture.
16. Be involve in developing and implementing activiites on literacy, health and wellness education, political education, agriculture and environmental education, vocational and technical training, multi-cultural and values education and livelihood training programs.
17. Attend diligently on other tasks that may be assigned or designated.

• Graduate of BS Industrial technology major in Electrical Technology
• Preferably with Master's Degree or ongoing units
• Preferably with experience in the academe
• Preferably a holder of an appropriate NC II Certificate
