The IT Business Analyst will assist the senior analyst and assign project Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in during data gathering, validating and documenting business requirements as well as preparing system design mockups. He/she must serve as a middle man between the end-users and software developers to ensure client requirements and expectations are met. He/She must do the following tasks:
- Project Related Duties
- Proactively facilitates assigned software development activities from planning to implementation and maintenance.
- Works closely with assigned project SMEs in ensuring they are updated with the projects status
- Assist in preparing comprehensive project timeline and executive summary documentation
- Assist in being the central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision-making process
- Technical Responsibilities
- Create and design system specifications base on client needs and requirements
- Assembles and documents all test results.
- Re-tests as necessary
- Establish and maintain relationships with third software providers (if any)
- Teamwork
- Creates and prepares comprehensive functional software specifications and ensures both the business and technical team understands the requirement
- Facilitates effective project team interaction
- Make contributions regarding best approaches for software development method, frontend and backend development
- Client and Documentation Management
- Accurately prepares business requirement documentation, system mockups, change requests documentations, and user’s manual with the use of standard templates that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional
- Present project kick-off presentation deck
- Facilitate and conduct collaborative discussions with subject matter experts to come with business process and workflow improvements
- Facilitates and conducts project initialization presentation to subject matter experts for every assigned project
- Prepares and/or conducts project status updates and addresses project-related inquiries
- Creates and designs system mockup presentation deck to provide illustrative representation of the system user interface
- Creates user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes
- Provides regular end user support regarding system issues, and occasional hardware problems
Trình độ tối thiểu
- At least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in automation projects and business process improvement
- Required skills: Good analytical and evaluative skills in tasks, attention to details, anticipate end-user system needs
- Required languages proficiency: Filipino, English
- Proficient in MS Visio, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, GSuites (e.g. Drive, Calendar, Sheet, Doc)
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills through facilitation of requirements workshops/walkthroughs, communication with stakeholders, and preparation of requirements documentation.
- With a background in Enterprise Resource Planning
- Have the ability to plan, organize, and structure work
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Has good interpersonal skills
- Willing to work in Makati City
