- The Financial Modeller must be able to provide decisions relating to investments which include (a) the evaluation of the prospective profitability of new investments, and (b) the measurement of a cut-off rate against which the prospective return of new investments could be compared. This can be achieved through financial analysis and financial modelling and understanding of the strategic direction of the business.
- The Financial Modeller liaises with the Business Development team in the financial evaluation of new opportunities for the business.
- Provides investment advice, tactics and recommendations.
- Uses financial modelling to predict outcomes and assess and predict financial risks and returns.
- Assists in generating finance from shares and loans and in negotiating and structuring financial details.
- Liaises with parties involved in transactions.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or closely related field required
- A relevant post-graduate qualification (CPA, CFA or MBA) is a plus
- Well-developed understanding of business fundamentals: strategies, operating models, functions, macroeconomics
- Well-developed valuation, financial analysis, and modeling skills, including the ability to develop a financial model from scratch
- Ability to structure a deliverable/storyboard/board papers for Board approval
- Knowledge of appropriate tools, techniques and intellectual capital to address transaction issues
- Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving
- Strong project management, coaching, and communications skills
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
- A minimum of three (3)-years relevant working experience
- Exposure to relevant transactions through Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Project Finance
